This is my dog Buddy. He is a quick learner. I have taught him many things such as telling me how much he wants a treat (example below) to shake hands, roll over and drop. I can teach him just about anything except for heeling - there seems to be more reward in pulling on the lead than heeling without choking. He has made slow progress with my partner - so I know that it can be done. I guess I just need some perseverance and not give in to the physical struggle so easily. He has learned to walk behind the lead when it is dangled in front of him. I will try this strategy when we go for our walks.
